Chairman

Faustin Karasira is a seasoned Rwandan business executive and strategic management professional with over 20 years of experience advancing tourism development, private sector growth, and institutional transformation. He holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management, which underpins his strong expertise in policy analysis, organizational leadership, and long-term development planning.

He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Private Sector Federation (PSF), the member based organization representing Rwanda’s private sector. In this role, he leads operational strategy, institutional strengthening, and stakeholder coordination, while championing business growth and competitiveness. He plays a central role in fostering public–private dialogue, facilitating structured engagement between government and industry to inform policy reform, improve the investment climate, and accelerate private sector-led development.

Karasira has been actively involved in policy dialogue and advisory engagements, contributing to national and sector-based planning processes that align private sector priorities with Rwanda’s broader economic transformation agenda. His work supports regional integration initiatives by promoting cross-border trade, market linkages, and partnerships within the East African business ecosystem, helping Rwandan enterprises expand beyond domestic markets.

He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Imanzi Business Institute, where he promotes executive education, entrepreneurship development, and managerial excellence. Father, he is a Board Member of the University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies (UTB), strengthening collaboration between academia and industry to ensure workforce readiness and innovation.
